The 13¼in (34cm) high patinated group on a rouge marble base is signed and has a mark for the Siot Decauville Foundry in Paris.
This is one of the best-known models by a sculptor who was a contemporary of Rodin and Camille Claudel. It carries an estimate of $3000-5000.
