Swallow Fairs’ director Richard Burgoin said: “We had almost 100 exhibitors and around 800 visitors.
“As it has always been with Donington, it was busy early and then quietened towards lunchtime. The venue is great with plenty of room for the event to grow.”
Swallow at Stoneleigh will run during the winter months with the market returning to the indoor/outdoor venue at Donington Park, near Derby, in the summer.
The next Stoneleigh market is on Monday, November 27, and runs from 7.30-9am for the trade and 9am-1pm for the public.
