This three-day antiques and vintage fair is held on Stamford Meadows from Friday to Sunday, May 19-21. From the 13th to the 19th centuries this was called the Bull Meadow, where a poor bull ended its days after being hounded though the town, “its flesh sold at a low rate to the people”, according to a 17th century commentator.

Charlotte Milford of Field Dog Fairs says: “We expect up to 150 dealers on Stamford Meadows at our two events there this year. An eclectic range of dealers stall out in a 200ft marquee and a French-style antiques market, offering items from furniture to jewellery and everything in between.”
