Wedgwood, which the Polikoffs first started collecting half a century ago, features prominently (Muriel is a past president of the Wedgwood International Seminar) but 18th century saltglaze and Whieldon wares also feature as well as Moorcroft and Doulton pottery.

The sale includes a pair of early 19th century Wedgwood calyx krater form urns in black basalt with encaustic decoration standing 11in (28cm) high and dated to the early 19th century which are estimated at $3000-5000.
