At the Westfair Fairgrounds in the city on Saturday and Sunday, June 24-25, antiques and vintage fair organisers Melting Pot Productions is launching the first of this year’s antiques and vintage markets, billed as Antique Spectacular Vintage Markets, held annually at four venues in Iowa and Illinois.
Fifty antique and vintage exhibitors will set out their stalls at the fairgrounds selling “art pottery, fine art and prints, primitives, quilts, coins, sports collectables, vintage textiles, silver and antique glassware”, says organiser Kimberly Schilling.
