Mayflower Antiques in Worcestershire is offering a Venetian glass footed wine cup or tazza with domed cover, priced at £10,000.

Dating to the second half of the 17th century, the 7in (18cm) high piece is made with cristallo glass and is decorated with blue intertwined trailing around the top of the cover and underneath the bowl of the cup.

Bishop & Miller’s July 29 sale in Stowmarket, Suffolk, will feature a diamond, gold and guilloché enamel coin brooch of Catherine II.

Probably by Fabergé, the bust is made in gold and raised upon a red guilloché enamel ground. More than 70 diamonds line the edge.

The reverse and lip is stamped 56 and with maker’s mark BK.

Estimate £8000-12,000.

Among the stars of Fellows’ jewellery sale on August 10 is an Edwardian platinum diamond tiara which comes in a fitted jeweller’s case for PG Dodd & Son.

Estimated at £8000-12,000, it comprises a series of old and single-cut diamonds, set in graduated foliate and loop motifs, each with a principal old-cut diamond collet and surmount in a garland design.
