The event, at Nottingham Racecourse, will build on the successful formula that is the organisers’ two-day antiques and collectors’ fair at Wetherby Racecourse in West Yorkshire

Held six times yearly, the Wetherby fair has been a flat-out success since it was launched in 2000.

Alan says: “Wetherby as a racecourse fair works so well for us that we have decided to repeat this at Nottingham Racecourse.”

Four two-day fairs will be held at Nottingham this year with the first on Saturday and Sunday, February 18-19.

The Cartwrights held their first fair at the University of Derby in 1996 and in 2000 launched their flagship biannual antiques and collectors’ event, Antiques in the Park, at Kedleston Hall in the same county.

The Derby Roundhouse antiques and collectors’ fair replaced the university fair in 2011 with the Roundhouse event now being dropped from the organisers’ calendar.
