Those with an interest in art primarily will want to head north to the 29th annual London Art Fair in Islington. LAF features Modern British art alongside Contemporary work. Running from January 18-22 in the Business Design Centre, this year’s fair is the most international to date, featuring exhibitors from 18 countries outside the UK including China, Germany, South Korea and the US.

The fair has partnered with Woking’s The Lightbox gallery, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Highlights from The Ingram Collection will be shown in a loan exhibition titled Ten Years: A Century of Art.

The fair includes other features such as Photo50, LAF’s annual exhibition of contemporary photography, and Dialogues, a five-gallery collaboration curated by Miguel Amado of the Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art.

A total of 129 exhibitors are set to take part such as first-time exhibitors Christopher Kingzett Fine Art, Beau Arts London, The Sladmore Gallery and Peter Harrington Gallery. Other exhibitors include Hanmi Gallery, Alan Wheatley Art, Osborne Samuel and Austin/Desmond Fine Art. The fair opens with a VIP preview on January 17.
