A collection of Islamic works of art kept in a storage facility on the outskirts of London is to be offered largely without reserve in Hannam’s February 23-24 sale in Selborne, Hampshire.

Among the highlights is this 5in (13cm) high early Khorasan bronze bird, engraved with motifs and calligraphy, which is guided at £300-500.

This unusual 18th century Delft ink stand is included in Bishop & Miller’s February 25 sale in Stowmarket, Suffolk. The rectangular 9½ x 4in (24 x 10cm) piece is covered in manganese decoration and is topped with a figure seated between a pounce pot and inkwell aperture.

Estimate £200-300.

Special Auction Services’ music and entertainment memorabilia sale on February 22-23 in Newbury, Berkshire, includes this hand-painted dressing room allocation board for The London Palladium Royal Variety Performance in 1965.

English comedian Arthur Haynes had the entertainers sign the guide, which he then gifted to his sister-in-law, the vendor’s great aunt.

The 2ft 2in x 2ft 11in (66 x 89cm) framed piece is autographed by Peter Sellers, Peter Cook, Dudley Moore, Spike Milligan, Dusty Springfield, Johnny Hallyday, Shirley Bassey and Tony Bennett among others. Estimate £400-500.
