Gallé vases, pictured on the mantel piece of a Parisian apartment in the early 1900s, are going under the hammer at Plymouth Auction Rooms on December 13.
The vases, along with a French 19th century clock by AD Mougin also shown in the photograph, were inherited by the vendor from her parents who had owned the French apartment.
The 10in (25cm) high vases are decorated with flowers and birds, and are signed E.Galle and Mourey, the latter possibly refering to Gabriel Mourey, an art historian and an influential art critic living in Paris in the early 1900s. One vase has suffered a hairline crack, which is reflected in the £200-300 estimate.

On December 15, Charterhouse of Sherborne in Dorset is selling thousands of postcards with a particular emphasis on English counties, assembled over a lifetime by a single local collector.
The collection, which features topographical, humorous and other themed examples, is being sold in grouped lots with estimates from £60-300.
It features postcards from the early 20th century depicting rural, town and city life in the West Country, Home Counties and further afield along with football and other sporting team images. Particularly well represented are Devon, Somerset, Cornwall and Dorset.
Decorated with simple linear incisions and of paddle form, this New Britain palmwood club from the South Pacific will be offered for sale at Brightwells of Leominster on December 13. Measuring 3ft 10in (1.17m) long, it is guided at £150-200.
