This Ushak Star carpet fragment will feature in Jeffrey S Evans’ April 29 sale in Virginia guided at $1000-2000.
The piece, with its flowering vine design, is dated to the 17th or 18th century. It is being deaccessioned by The Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts (MESDA) to benefit its collections and acquisitions funds and has what the auction firm describes as a conservative estimate of $1000-2000.
