On April 23, the antiques and decorative arts specialist will hold a special St George’s Day 20% off event and snooker challenge.
Taking place on the gallery’s full-size billiard table, visitors can challenge a member of the gallery staff to a 10-minute round of snooker for an additional 5% off an object of the customer’s choice.
The snooker table is among the items available at the gallery. Designed by John Ednie for Wylie and Lochhead c.1905 the Glasgow-style billiard table is priced at £48,000. However, the gallery offers stock at a range of price points, from a few hundred pounds to over £100,000.
The gallery opened in 1998 and has a particular focus on objects from the British Arts & Crafts movement. From 2002-07 the gallery was the Arts & Crafts department specialist in Liberty.
The snooker challenge takes place from 12-3pm.
