Keys Auctioneers
Marc Knighton has joined Keys Auctioneers as head of pictures. He joins from WH Lane & Son in Penzance where he spent three years as a picture specialist. Previously, while studying at Cambridge University, he was also responsible for cataloguing the extensive architectural drawings collection at Queens College, Cambridge.
Keys fine art department holds monthly pictures sales, as well as the bi-annual East Anglian art sale and other specialist sales.
Christie’s Americas
Keith Davis is now Christie's head of watches.
Christie’s has hired two new recruits for its Watches department. In New York Keith Davis joins as head of watches and Adam Victor becomes senior watches consultant.
Davis has previously worked at watch brands Vacheron Constantin and Bvlgari and most recently was a director of timepieces at Heritage Auctions.
Adam Victor is now senior watches consultant at Christie's.
Victor has spent the last 30 years to researching, collecting, and consulting clients and collectors on timepieces and worked for 25 years of in the luxury fashions sector including at LVMH. He focuses particularly on vintage watches made between the 1930s-70s.
Auktionshaus Zofingen
Elia Himmelreich, Markus F Rubli-v Graffenried and Sander Jongbloed are running Auktionshaus Zofingen.
There is new management at Auktionshaus Zofingen in Switzerland. Following the retirement of Dorothea Räber and Jules Lang and Hannes Hugentobler (who retired a year ago), three new members of the team will lead the business.
Elia Himmelreich, Markus F Rubli-von Graffenried and Sander Jongbloed will now run the saleroom and become new owners.
The firm will continue as owner managed and is now consigning for its next auction in November.

Duke's in Dorchester, Dorset.
Duke’s has announced its inaugural Dorset Auction will take place on July 22, featuring “quintessential collections from Dorset characters such as Thomas Hardy and Lawrence of Arabia”.
