2. Satsuma plate
The Asian art sale at David Lay in Penzance on August 12-13 includes this 9in (23cm) Satsuma plate decorated with geisha in a garden setting by Ryuzan.
It comes from a Derbyshire private collection and is guided at £400-600.

3. Tavern clock
This Scottish tavern clock with a chinoiserie trunk and white painted dial is signed for David Norrie of Leith.
Measuring 4ft 10in (1.46m) high, it has a guide of £800-1200 at McTear’s in Glasgow on August 12.

4. Luke Skywalker figure
A Star Wars figure of Luke Skywalker in its original bubble packaging is included in Mitchells’ Vintage & Antique Toy sale in Cockermouth on August 12. The Palitoy figure is the ‘12-back A version’ of the model released at the time of the first Star Wars movie in 1977.
It is offered with a very conservative estimate of just £50-80, but the levels of pre-sale interest suggest the figure will sell for as much as £3000-5000.
