Thoughts, Words & Deeds at the Carmarthen School of Art runs until March 7 showcasing work by the students and staff. It highlights the research, thought and theory behind artworks, demonstrating the transition from an idea to the completed work.

Bowen, who specialises in Welsh and British country furniture and folk art, has provided a range of furniture – that can be used to write on, such as a simple Georgian Welsh writing table, to fit the theme of the show.

This simple Georgian Welsh writing table is among the furniture Tim Bowen Antiques has lent to Thoughts, Words and Deeds, an exhibition hosted by Carmarthen School of Art.

“It’s been exciting to work with such a vibrant art college and to see the mix of old and new,” says Bowen. “We are getting a great response from visitors and students and it showcases our pieces to a new audience.”

The exhibition takes place at Oriel Henry Thomas on the Jobs Well Rd Campus.
