McCullin (b. 1935) is a British photojournalist who recorded scenes of war and strife in the 20th century. He is currently the subject of a retrospective at Tate Britain which runs until May 6, which includes his images of poverty and working-class life in London as well as conflict in Vietnam, Northern Ireland and Syria.
The 1960s vintage silver print photograph, representative of McCullin’s distinctive style, is on offer at Battersea (April 9-14) on the stand of dealer Pierre Spake, returning to the fair to share a stand with newcomer Henry Miller Fine Art. Spake offers books, manuscripts, photographs, paintings and works of art.
