The BADA members-only event is timed to coincide with the Masterpiece fair happening less than a mile away.

Leading dealers have signed up to take part in BADA’s inaugural ‘pop up’ selling exhibition in June and July on Pimlico Road, London – an event timed to coincide with Masterpiece fair happening less than a mile away.

The dealer body signed a rental agreement with the Grosvenor Estate, as part of a wider partnership, to host what it is calling BADA Collection at 46 Pimlico Road from June 25-July 10.

Masterpiece will run from June 27 to July 3 at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, under a mile away from Pimlico Road.

Joint exhibitors

Several of the dealers who have signed on to exhibit at BADA’s selling show are also exhibiting at Masterpiece and at The Art & Antiques Fair Olympia, which runs from June 19-28.

More than 20 dealers have signed up, but bookings are still open and the venue can accommodate up to 60 dealers, depending on the size of objects.

The event is being curated by BADA council members Peter Petrou and Laura Bordignon.

“We are thrilled to be able to show two magnificent objects at the [BADA] exhibition,” Dino Tomasso said.

Tomasso Brothers will exhibit “an enigmatic marble bust of a nobleman by Fortini, which represents our love of period sculpture and the other, a truly incredible Roman bronze vase by Righetti, which shows our admiration and continuing interest in important decorative arts,” Tomasso said.

He added: “The importance of BADA can never be overstated, as it’s given both the dealer and client enormous kudos over the decades.”

Commenting on the dealers already committed to BADA Collection (see list, below) the association's chief executive Marco Forgione said: “It’s wonderful to have such a wide range of BADA members taking part in BADA Collection at 46 Pimlico Road. This curated selling exhibition is an exciting opportunity to promote BADA members’ knowledge and the variety and quality of their objects.”
