The fair has been slightly enlarged overall, allowing for a new cruciform layout with an additional central aisle running east to west. Running at a right angle to the existing main aisle, the new aisle is set to improve the flow of visitors. Exhibitor capacity has also increased as a result from the previous 153 to 160.

The event runs from June 28-July 4 and features 24 new exhibitors. These include: Hill-Stone (Old Master to modern works on paper), Hammer Galleries (Impressionist and modern art), Hauser & Wirth (contemporary art), Jill Newhouse Gallery (modern and contemporary art), Kallos Gallery (ancient art), Landau Fine Art (modern and contemporary art), Lullo Pampoulides (Old Master painting and sculpture), Vigo Gallery (contemporary art) and jewellers Moussaieff and Cindy Chao.

Among those not listed as returning this year are Derek Johns (Old Masters), Martyn Gregory (China trade paintings), David Aaron (Persian and Islamic art), Gregg Baker Asian Art and Aktis Gallery (modern art).

Its focus remains on cross-collecting, exemplified by dealers in different disciplines sharing stands.

“Masterpiece’s inimitable strength is its ability to transcend the traditional pigeonholing of art into chronologies and cultures,” said Philip Hewat-Jaboor, chairman of the fair. “We’re looking forward to welcoming, once again, international exhibitors, museums, patrons and collectors, to what is set to be our strongest fair to date.”
