A Japanese gold lacquer table screen stolen from David Brower Antiques.
David Brower Antiques has reported a theft of a Japanese screen from his shop, believed to have been taken by the same person who also stole from neighbour Patrick Sandberg Antiques.
The 9in (23cm) high Japanese two fold shibayama/gold lacquer table screen was stolen on January 12 and the police have been informed.
Brower said: “By publicising these thefts, the trade and auctioneers are made aware of the incidents and enables them to keep a watchful eye, in case the items surface.”
He is supplying CCTV to the police and is concerned the criminal could strike again.
