Taking place on Sunday, April 22, the event hosts 50 traders attend offering unique pieces from little-known brands to designer labels such as Chanel, Dior, Biba Ossie Clark and Burberry.
Among the new exhibitors at this year’s event is Ornella Bijoux, which has crafted more than 30,000 pieces of fine jewellery since 1944. These have been exhibited at the V&A and Palazzo Reale. The brand has also created pieces for Dolce & Gabbana, Borbonese, Swarovski and Celine among others.
Galina Sherry, founder of Gigi’s Dressing Room, is also new to the event, bringing the late Annie Curtis-Jones’ collection of vintage. It includes womenswear from the 1920s-90s.
Also appearing for the first time is the Concordia Foundation, a charity that supports and promotes emerging musicians, which was founded by singer and broadcaster Gillian Humphreys. It features a wide range of vintage fashion and costume including a number of day and eveningwear pieces once worn by Humphreys from prominent fashion designers.
The Spring Fair follows the CVFF’s The Vintage Collections event in February, the first to be staged at the Freemason’s Hall.
