The party will take place at Kensington’s Reindeer Antiques on Tuesday, September 25, and is the third in a series of gatherings geared to help younger people develop their networks in the world of art and antiques.

The events are the brainchild of BADA Friends director Anne Green. BADA Friends was formed in 1991 to work with members of the public to support the work of BADA’s Cultural and Educational Trust. It is focused on promoting learning and expertise in the fine art and antiques trade.

Tickets are £10 and available via Eventbrite.

The next event is on November 27 at print specialist Lyndsey Ingram’s Mayfair gallery.

BADA Friends has a busy schedule of events for its members this autumn. On the evening of September 18 (tonight) a select group will visit the home of jewellery expert Geoffrey Munn, the former managing director of Wartski.

Munn said: “I believe it is our duty, via the work of the BADA Trust, to ensure that those outstanding works of fine art, design and antiques are not only enjoyed by the widest possible audience but also by many generations to come."

Next week, BADA Friends have a trip organised during the day on September 25 to the ‘Ride the Rail Mail’. The train takes visitors through the original tunnels and station platforms under sorting office Mount Pleasant, followed by a trip to the Postal Museum.
