Doors will open to a crowd of an estimated 5000 guests on Thursday, March 8, for an ‘early access day’. A preview day will follow on Friday, March 9 for around 7000 guests. General admission starts Saturday, March 10 at 11am and continues until the next Sunday. The changes have been made in response to dealer feedback to ‘create the optimum selling platform’ for participants.
Sixteen first-time exhibitors will join next year’s event, standing across the fair’s eight sections. Five will join in TEFAF Modern and four in TEFAF Design: Galerie Jousse Enterprise, Oscar Graf, Galerie Marc Heirmans and Thomas Fritsch – Artrium (for a complete list see below).
The five showcase dealers are: 20th century design specialists Galerie Le Beau (Belgium); Cortesi Gallery (Switzerland) with post-war art; tribal art dealer Charles-Wesley Hourdé (France); Kallos Gallery (UK) bringing antiquities and ancient art; and Librairie Camille Sourget (France) with rare and antiquarian books.
