This oil on canvas by Welsh artist Ceri Richards of 'Arsenal in Venice' was stolen from a gallery in north London.
The oil on canvas, titled Arsenal in Venice c.1962 and one of two known versions, is yet to be recovered.
Erin Clement Mentesh, 36, was arrested and charged with burglary on New Year’s Eve. He pleaded not guilty and has been remanded to appear at Blackfriars Crown Court on January 27.
