Top interior designers seeking unique objects on Kensington Church Street, famous faces who love London’s antiques and mayor of London Sadiq Khan extolling the city’s business strength all feature in Antiques Trade Gazette’s London Summer Capital of Art 2017 supplement.

The glossy magazine, out next week, and previewed in Friday’s London Evening Standard newspaper, is an annual celebration of London’s dealers, fairs, exhibitions and auctions during the summer season.

Among those featured are Rosanna Ranieri, wife of football manager Claudio, and actor Richard E Grant on why they love London’s antiques trade. Grant is a fan of Portobello and Golborne Road markets because collecting has been a “lifelong passion, an absolute addiction and enormously pleasurable. ‘The hunt’ is everything.”

Alongside great ideas of where to shop and what to buy, in-depth previews of top fairs Masterpiece London and the Art and Antiques Fair Olympia give readers the inside track on what’s hot and where to find it.

London Summer Capital of Art also includes listings of all key forthcoming auctions, fairs and exhibitions in London during June and July.

It will be sent to subscribers to Antiques Trade Gazette with issue 2294 and will also be available online. You can access it first by downloading the free ATG app now. Find it in the Apple and Google Play stores.
