Dominic Lyncker is joining the Warrington company on June 1 as managing director as H&H seek to enhance their position outside the UK. His most recent role was head of group sport cars, motorsport and car culture at Volkswagen Group China. His previous roles have included senior management positions at Porsche Germany and sales and marketing positions at Mercedes-Benz.

Lyncker, a keen motorbike rider, is also a board member of the Federation of Classic Cars China.

Other recent appointments at H&H have included Liam Cardiff as a board director. He is also a director of JD Classics, which restores and services classic cars, and is co-owner of Healey Sports Cars.

Simon Hope, H&H chairman who founded the auction house in 1993, says: “We are investing in some of the best people in the classic car and auction worlds. Our current team is massively talented but these new appointments will help take us to new levels and new markets and help embed our success for the future. They will ensure that when we tell clients that we can compete at the top level they will know we mean just that.”
