Davidson has been dealing for nearly 55 years. A specialist in Asian art, he retired as a NADFAS lecturer a couple of years ago.

However, he is also one of the most recent recruits to the Acreman Street Antiques Centre which opened in Sherborne in late October 2015.

Davidson is the author of Handbook of Marks on Chinese Ceramics. He stocks a variety of Asian objects including Chinese ceramics from the Tang to Qing dynasties and from the Republic as well as metalwork, wood and hardstone carvings and other objects from China, Japan and India.

As well as his new base in Sherborne, Davidson continues to lecture on cruise ships.
