LARTA remains its own entity but will take place on the mezzanine level of the Evolution Marquee in Battersea Park during the winter decorative fair.

“It’s much bigger than our previous space and allows us to host more exhibitors,” LARTA organiser Aaron Nejad told ATG. Nejad had been seeking a larger space for the seventh edition of his fair when he viewed the Battersea space.

In previous years LARTA has taken place in April at The Showroom in Marylebone.

“It was a great place to hold the fair but we’ve outgrown our last venue; this is ideal,” Nejad added.

For its inaugural appearance at the Battersea decorative fair LARTA will host 17 dealers – almost half again the 11 who stood at the previous fair this year. The area provides twice the amount of floor space allowing for more spacious stands as well.

Among the exhibitors joining the fair for the first time Liberty of London (who have never participated in a fair before) and C John.

Nejad says both he and Decorative Fair organiser David Juran both believe that the two events will complement one another.

The two fairs will take place from January 24-29, 2017.
