The auction house previously held its auctions from Cirencester’s The Bingham Hall. After several decades in the shared venue, however, directors Liz Poole and Lindsey Braune say that the brand-new saleroom in the local Love Lane industrial estate offers a number of advantages.

“The Bingham Hall is one of the most distinguished and best-known buildings in Cirencester and we shall be sad to leave after all these years,” says Braune, “But the benefits of having a permanent base for the office, storage and saleroom can't be outweighed!"

The new saleroom offers easy access, ample parking and more than 8000 square ft of space in which to display upcoming lots.

One particular advantage for buyers is an added Saturday morning viewing now possible with the new location. Sales dates have moved from Friday to Tuesday to accommodate the extra viewing.

“We’ve been looking for a permanent location for quite a while,” the auction house’s Oliver Halford told ATG. “Everything will just be so much easier now, with more space, sales getting up online earlier, which will hopefully get more people bidding.

The Cirencester Bankside saleroom continues to offer antiques and interiors sales with silver and jewellery, pictures, toys and dolls special sections. Their next sale includes silver, jewellery and watches and takes place on October 25.
