This oil on canvas by Welsh artist Ceri Richards of 'Arsenal in Venice' was stolen from a gallery in north London.
The artwork was stolen in an overnight ‘smash and grab’ from a gallery in north London on December 20. The painting, an oil on canvas titled Arsenal in Venice c. 1962, is one of two known versions. The stolen work was painted by the artist for his granddaughter.
