Yes, we are of course talking about the Annual Auctioneers vs Dealers Charity Football Tournament on September 5, held once again in south London and helping the The Haven Breast Cancer Centres charity (£10,000 was raised this year).

Sotheby's (shown above right) are the dominant force: they won the champion's cup (Lennox Cato Cup) for the fourth year in a row, beating Flaxman Jewellery 3-1 in the final. They have never even lost a game. Plate cup winners were East Bristol Auctions, who have been part of the tournament for the past four years. They beat local south Londoners Roseberys 5-0.

List of teams: Bath Auctioneers, Bonhams, Christies A & Christies B, East Bristol, Phillips, Roseberys, Sotheby's A & Sotheby's B, Special  Auction Services and Sworders (all auctioneers); Flaxman Fine Jewellery and Titian Studios (dealers); Alban Shipping and Cadogan Tate (shippers) and ATG Media.

Thanks go to the committee: Chelsie Bennett (The Haven), Addison Gelpey (Bath Auctioneers), Ed Flaxman (Flaxman Jewellery), Lawrence Bright (UK Auctioneers) and Marika Clemow (ATG Media).

Thanks also to the principal sponsors, Sotheby's and ATG Media.
