He was arrested in Manchester on Monday, March 30 and has been charged with robbery and possessing an offensive weapon.
The Harrogate Advertiser reported that staff at Montpellier Antiques were threatened with a machete and an axe by four masked robbers during the raid before they made off with high-value jewellery.
