Dr John C Taylor, pictured on the right, receives the Harrison Medal from Philip Whyte, the Master of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers.
With one of the most comprehensive collections of early English clocks in the world, Dr Taylor is a world-leading expert on the subject.
The medal was awarded by the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers (clockmakers.org) at the annual Livery Dinner at Drapers' Hall, London.
