It is just across the road from their old premises, but provides far more space, allowing the auction house to offer much more while making life easier for bidders and other visitors, including extra car parking and a showcase area on the ground floor to exhibit items on offer.
Their new HQ is in Pullman Court, a former office building by the Brewery Square development - in the heart of Dorchester rather than an out-of-town site like so many auction houses have moved to.
Duke's will retain their existing Weymouth Avenue site but the Grove Auctions branch is closed, with the latter rebranded as Avenue Auctions and now based at Weymouth Avenue.
