The interview - last year's inaugural conversation with the Duke of Devonshire was the hot ticket of the fairs season in London - will take place on Monday, June 15, just three days before the bicentenary of the Battle of Waterloo, which will form the subject of their discussion, along with the celebrations at Apsley House, its collections and the artistic legacy of the 1st Duke of Wellington

The new duke, who succeeded to the title when his father died aged 99 on December 31, takes a keen curatorial interest in Apsley' House's intimate magnificence, and his passion for the works of art includes the desire to add to its already illustrious collection.

Preceding the conversation, Dame Rosalind will introduce the historian and author, Count Adam Zamoyski, the award-winning British historian, author and specialist in Napoleonic history who will present the lecture, Napoleon - The man and the Phenomenon.
