USAS organize nine antiques fairs a year across four states and they will use the Antique Young Guns U.S brand to promote and support those in the trade aged 39 years old or younger across the States.

Dan Darby, U.S. Antique Shows general manager, said that through their involvement they hope "to help develop the next generation of antique dealers and buyers."

Antique Young Guns U.S. will be officially launched at U.S. Antique Shows' The Original Miami Beach Antique Show (January 30-February 3) at the Miami Beach Convention Center, when the Antique Young Guns U.S. website will go live.

Co-founders of Antiques Young Guns (AYG) Mark Hill, George Johnson and Gail McLeod, also hope this new alliance will offer the exciting c.100 members in the UK exposure to the US market through the AYG website which will be linked with the US version.

USAS are also currently spearheading another new initiative, the Antiques Industry Council (AIC), which aims to bring together those in the antiques industry who are trying to "reach a younger audience to ignite enthusiasm and interest" in the field.
