Piasa's move into a spacious corner site set around a courtyard formerly occupied by the Galerie Didier Aaron (who are now on boulevard Haussmann) allows the auctioneers to combine all their office and saleroom space under one roof (formerly Piasa had offices in the heart of the Drouot auction quarter on the rue Drouot and a Left Bank saleroom and exhibition space used primarily for auctions of design).
The company's new base has a large, well-lit saleroom on the first floor with plenty of additional viewing spaces of varying sizes on the ground and second floors.
The opening sale on September 17 is devoted to Modern Design with a special Scandinavian focus.
