Judith Miller, a supporter since the beginning of the award which was started last year by Gail McLeod, George Johnson and Mark Hill, will present a trophy in her name to one of the shortlisted entrants at the awards party on July 4 at Alfies Antiques in London.

The deadline for entries is May 16 and the awards are open to anyone aged 39 and under working in the antiques trade.

Gail McLeod said: "We have been so fortunate to have the support of key people in the antiques trade, not only as sponsors and supporters but also the team of 11 'Antiques Heavy Artillery', who will mentor the 11 lucky winners this year."

The Antiques Young Guns have confirmed the sponsors for this year's event. They are Antiques Trade Gazette, Alfies Antiques Market, IACF Ltd, Bath Decorative Antiques Fair, The Decorative Antiques + Textiles Fair, LoveAntiques.com and The Hoarde.com.
