Robert Smith, 24, of Hockenden Lane, Swanley, Kent, Steven Coughlan, 26, of Eleanor Street, Bow, east London, and another 29-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were each sentenced to six years for conspiracy to burgle at Cambridge Crown Court last Thursday (September 27).
They had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing. A
15-year-old boy from London who pleaded guilty to burglary at a previous hearing was sentenced to a four-month detention and training order.
• The 18 artefacts taken in the April 13 break-in have still not been traced but a substantial reward has been offered for information leading to the recovery.
