An incised plate mounted on the housing dates them to 1946, with the maker of the internal metal works and lenses listed as Albert Lambourne of Poynings, Sussex, while the plate also carries the legend "William Pacey did the wood".
Estimated at £300-500, the contraption will appear in the July 19 sale.
