It runs at the Palais de la Bourse from November 7-12 and, like last year, the ten Parisian Old Master dealers that make up the organising committee for this event are each inviting a guest exhibitor.
The addition of one extra guest, plus two guest frame dealers, ups last year's tally from 20 to 23.
This many dealers will probably just about fill the available space at the Palais to capacity without it feeling too cramped.
Eight of the guests, dealers from the UK and Continental Europe, are returning from last year. They will be joined by Rafael Vals from London; Galerie Saint Lucas from Vienna and two Italians: Massimo Megna from Rome and Enrico Ceci from Formigine who is one of the two frame dealers (the other is Galerie Montanari from Paris).
All are hoping to carry on their aim of promoting and generating increased awareness of the Old Master genre.
Visitors (and last year's inaugural event attracted around 6000) can expect not just a strong showing of French painting but also Italian, Flemish and Spanish work ranging in date from the Middle Ages to the 19th century.
The fair's other stated aim, to encourage discussion by focusing on some particular academic theme through a loan exhibit, kicked off last year with a display from The National Institute of Art History concentrating on the reverse side of a painting and what it could reveal.
This year, the fair has turned to the Mobilier National and will be showing a selection of paintings and cartoons for tapestries from the famous Gobelins factory.
