They hope the new Mayfair premises, open for business on the second floor of 3 Queen Street since September 3, will help the firm make further inroads in the South where charges and minimum lot values have risen significantly in recent years.
Stephen Whittaker, managing director at Fellows, said the firm had carved out their corner of the jewellery sector through their down-to-earth approach to customer service. "This office gives those based in and around London the opportunity to experience selling through a different kind of auction house; one which is unpretentious and unceremonial," he added.
Only a short walk from Berkeley Square, the office will be staffed by some of their most experienced specialists: Geoff Whitefield, Emma Scriven, Adrian Hailwood and Heather Bailey.
It will be open Monday to Friday from 9.30am-4.30pm but is by appointment only.
