The event in a Mayfair marquee was scheduled for June 24-29.

There has been no official announcement of the fair’s cancellation and last week a spokesman would only say it was “on hold” while the organisers devote their time to launching a fourth version of their Pavilion of Art & Design in Singapore next year.

The first version has been running successfully in Paris for some years, while the second was held in Berkeley Square last October.

And the third? Last year it was announced that this would be at the Park Avenue Armory in New York next November. However, this event is also now “on hold”.

Last October there was talk of planning permission issues regarding a summer fair in Berkeley Square but at the time M. Perrin assured ATG that the venue was secured.

It now appears that planning consent is at least a factor in the June fixture being cancelled, or rather put “on hold”.
