A pair of 4 3/4in (12cm) bowls, one of which is pictured here, each with a six character mark to the base, share their rare decoration with a single bowl, formerly in the Robert Chang Collection, sold at Christie's Hong Kong in November 2006 for a premium inclusive HK$5,496,000 (then $710,188). An estimate is available on request.

Another single 4in (10cm) bowl is enamelled with Shou Lao, the Daoist god of longevity, riding a stag accompanied by Lan Caihe, one of the Eight Immortals, a subject more often found on late Kangxi wares. It again bears Yongzheng marks to the base. The estimate is a modest £10,000-15,000.

The bowls can be viewed (by appointment only) at Dix Noonan Webb of Bolton Street, London W1J, from November 2-6 before being sold at Martel Maides in St Peter Port, Guernsey, on November 26.
