His main focus will be on increasing worldwide picture sales across the Bonhams Group directing teams in Europe, the USA, and the Middle and Far East. He will be based in New Bond Street where he will work closely with Caroline Oliphant, Head of Pictures in the UK and Europe.
He comes to Bonhams with over 30 years experience in the auction world. Before leaving Christie's during the summer, he was their Director of International British and Irish Art, and until 2007 he was also International Director of 19th century European paintings.
