As usual, a range of initiatives is planned across the country aimed at enticing the French public across the saleroom threshold.

Many of the France's auctioneers will be holding viewings and valuations with staff on hand to explain the auction system.

And amongst the more unusual initiatives are: a charity sale of toys donated by children which the children themselves will be selling from the rostrum in Nantes on March 28; a session during which the public can try their hand at wielding the gavel under the guidance of an auctioneer in Valence on the evening of the 28th' and a sale of palm and olive trees and other plants in Rouen on the 29th.
