More than 80 exhibitors have signed up and these include art publishers such as Phaidon and Thames & Hudson, gallery and museum publishing houses, university presses and specialist booksellers.
Among the attractions lined up for this first fair are book signings, bookbinding classes and a talk by Turner prizewinner Grayson Perry.
The London Art Book Fair is organised by the Whitechapel Gallery and Marcus Campbell Art Books.
Admission is free.
