Among their sales (at an undisclosed price) was this much-admired 3ft 4in x 2ft 4in (1.02m x 71cm) pastel drawing by Edgar Degas, Toilette matinale of 1894, one of the few to be dated.

They also had one of the highlights of the whole event, a haunting Van Gogh study of his asylum, The Park of the Hospital Saint-Paul, painted during the final year of his life.

It was priced in the region of €25m but did not sell at the fair. However, plenty of other works in all areas did, making this a very successful Maastricht.
