Run by the Society of Fine Art Auctioneers and Valuers (SOFAA), the competition awards £1000 for the best industry-related essay by a full-time junior member of staff of a SOFAA member company. A junior member of staff is defined as someone with less than eight years’ industry experience.
The maximum essay length is 5000 words.
Entries will be judged by the Committee at their June meeting and should be submitted, by e-mail, to the Secretary (secretary@sofaa.org) by the end of May.
The winner will be invited to the October AGM to be presented with the award. It will be at the sole discretion of the Commitee if any award is made and to whom.
