Built up over four centuries, this important collection of Renaissance and Baroque bronzes normally resides in the Garden Palace of the Rossau in Vienna, restored by the current prince and opened to the public in 2004.

This will be the first time the bronzes have been displayed in France and will form the first of a series of exhibitions organised by Gallerie Kugel showcasing the collections of great private collectors.

The collection was founded by Prince Karl I von Liechtenstein (1569-1627), but the reigning prince, Hans Adam II, has acquired a third of the 40 bronzes on show at Kugel during the last decade.
