Halls of Shropshire, who merged with Humberts last September, have bought back their property and fine art auction businesses, while Bonhams have appointed Humberts’ head of fine art auctions, Jeremy Sparks, as their south east area director based in Sevenoaks.
Existing and future clients of Humberts Fine Art in the South East will now be referred to Bonhams as a result.
Mr Sparks, a well-known figure in the auction world, has worked in the business in the South East for over 30 years, including a stint at Phillips and a number of Kent-based auction firms.
